PRIVATE LESSONS

May I Have This Dance's main goal has always been to expose as many people as possible to the joy of partner dancing. In addition to our top-rated and inexpensive group lessons and dance parties, we offer private lessons for those that want to take their dancing to the next level and really be the best they can be on the dance floor. To achieve this goal, we do our best to make private lessons affordable and the greatest value possible.

Most other ballroom dance studios only sell private lessons in very large packages which end up breaking down to be over two times more costly than ours. Moreover, their lessons are much shorter in length and are structured to keep students' progress slow in order to sell more lessons and bigger packages.

May I Have This Dance has always been, and will continue to be the opposite of this industry standard practice. With us, there are no contracts to sign, and absolutely no pressure sales-tactics. You can pay as you go and maintain control over your private lesson schedule and agenda. We are motivated 100% by what you want and need out of private lessons. Our network of instructors are among the best trained Instructors in the nation, continually being trained in the best diagnosing and teaching techniques. Of course, they are also very talented, friendly, and down-to-earth.

Everyone is welcome and our instructors collaborate with a team-teaching approach and share the same high standards and training. We know that you will be very happy with the quality of our instruction and our supportive environment. Be amazed at the progress you'll make!

In a private lesson, one instructor works with one student or a couple. This is an excellent way to focus on your specific needs and goals. Instructors can help you create a Personal Dance Development Plan, utilizing a combination of private lessons, group classes, dance parties, and practice. Or, you can just take one private lesson at a time.

Private Lesson rates vary by instructor. Private Lesson packages are available at a discounted rate if you pre-pay.

Private lessons can be customized to fit your needs and goals. You can focus on one dance, one lesson at a time, or you work with your instructor to create a comprehensive program. Some of the programs we have available include:

One lesson is 55-minutes

Although private lessons with our instructors are the best values in Chicagoland, if you can't fit them into your budget, consider our group lessons and workshops which average only $5 to $15 per hour.

PRIVATE LESSONS & COACHING WITH NINO:
Due to the increasing demand to take private lessons with Nino and his very limited availability, Nino has changed the structure for private lessons with him specifically. This applies to Nino only, and not the other instructors. In order for Nino to be available for more students, one session with Nino is now 30 minutes (whereas it is 55 minutes with the other MayIHaveThisDance Instructors).

Nino's schedule is booked sometimes several months in advance, and there is no guarantee that Nino will be able to take on a new student as a regular client. Nevertheless, Nino will do his best to provide ONE initial session with you if you specifically request him and can coordinate schedules. At the end of this session Nino will recommend the May I Have This Dance Instructor that he feels will best help you achieve your goals.

Rates exclusively for private lessons with Nino are:
$50 per session
$450 10-pk
$850 20-pk
$1200 30-pk

Another program that we are launching to meet the demand for coaching sessions with Nino is the Master Critique Program.
Any student who signs up for at least a 10-pack with any May I Have This Dance instructor can get Nino for up to an hour out of this 10-pack with the student and instructor for an extra $50 ($100 value). This can be split into two, 30-minute coaching sessions. These coaching/critique sessions are part of the 10-pack purchased with the regular instructor, so Nino and the regular instructor will both work with the student during the coaching/critique time. This does not add time to the 10-pack.

All MayIHaveThisDance instructors are consummate professionals, talented, and trained by Nino to teach above and beyond his high standards and expectations. They are among the best instructors in the Midwest. Nevertheless, if you would like the personal attention, feedback, and expertise from Nino, the Master Critique Program may be perfect for you!
