CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Group Class Cancellation/Refund/Credit Policy

• Students can cancel their registration for a complete refund or credit if cancelled more than 5 days prior to a the start of the first workshop or series.
• Students will get a credit only, no refund, if they cancel between 1 and 5 days before the start of the first workshop or series. The credit will equal the full original amount less a $15 administrative fee.
• Students will be charged a $15 administrative fee each time they request any changes to their registration 5 days or less before the first workshop or series.
• After the first workshop or series class begins, tuition is non-refundable. However a credit minus $15 administrative fee may be issued in the event of serious injury or long-term illness when student makes a request in writing within two weeks of the, and provides medical documentation proving said injury or illness.
• To cancel, the student should contact MayIHaveThisDance as soon as possible via e-mail or phone.
• If a class is cancelled by MayIHaveThisDance, the student will receive a full refund or credit.
• Valid Credits are always given in official writing or via e-mail, from a May I Have This Dance management member. Verbal credits are never given, therefore will not be accepted. To redeem a credit you must provide the credit in writing at the time or your registration.
  

Private Lesson Cancellation/Refund/Credit Policy

• Each Instructor maintains their own policies and procedures, please check with your Instructor for details. However, the minimum expectation and policy is as follows:
• Students should give at least 24 hours notice when cancelling a private lesson. Instructor must be contacted directly to cancel or leave a message on the studio messaging service if you are unable to reach them.
• If a student cancels with at least 24 hours notice, they are not charged a fee.
• If a student cancels with less than 24 hours notice, or is a no-show, they will be charged the cost for the private lesson.
• If the student cancels private lessons "chronically" (more than 3 times in a 6 month period), then they will be required to provide at least 72 hours notice to avoid being charged for the private lesson.

Private Lesson Pre-paid Package Refunds Policy

• Students may choose to pre-pay for a package of 5, 10, 15 or more private lessons to get a significant discount per lesson. However, we never pressure our students to purchase packages. Our individual private lesson rates are very reasonable and the best value in the industry. You may choose to just take, and pay for a private lesson, one-at-a-time.
• If a student has purchased a discounted private lesson package, and doesn't complete all the lessons in the package, he/she can request a refund of the unused portion of the package. The refund amount will be determined by deducting from the outstanding total package price paid, the instructor's standard individual private lesson rate, times the amount of lessons completed. A $35 administrative fee will also be deducted.
  

Make-up Policy

• MayIHaveThisDance typically runs a particular class only once during the month or semester. Class series (for example--a 4-week series) are progressive in nature so it is to your and your classmates benefit that you attend each class. If you miss a class, you may be behind for the next class, which will affect the other students in class. Therefore we really encourage each student to make every session in a series if possible. If you must miss a class, taking a private lesson, at an additional expense, to catch up is always a good idea, and in some instances may be required.
• For those students who cannot commit to a multi-week series, we have workshops which can be selected individually.

Our group lessons, workshops, and series are a tremendous value. Our curriculum and instructors are the best in the area, yet we are able to maintain much lower rates than other studios and dance schools. Please help us keep our low rates by observing our policies.
